Portland Center For The Performing Arts With The Amazing Lyndsey

A huge thanks to the amazing Lyndsey for filling in almost last minute to help me complete a fashion shoot at the Portland Center for the Performing arts. I got to pair up with Couture Prototype Madriaga again, who sent a wonderful wardrobe for my model, and I did the hair and makeup. Check out their website... they rent/sell high end and designer clothing for movies, productions, special occasions and photography shoots.

Newborn Wraps with Mr. G

Last week I got to do some newborn photos with little baby G, who was 18 days new! He helped model some newborn wraps for Picture Perfect, and i couldn't have asked for a better helper. There is just something magical about newborns... I think my favorite is their perfect little mouth and lips. Anyway, welcome to the world little baby G!

Days 7 and 8

I got to spend some time up at Husum Highlands B&B again meeting with some brides and taking some pictures, so I had some fun doing my day 7 and 8 imagesin between waiting for potential brides and photographing grounds and inside the B&B.

Day 7 was gift. Of course since it's Christmas I could have done a package present but really, what better gift was there ever than when baby Jesus was born?

And Day 8 was Book. I was feeling in the macro spirit after having photographed the ceramic nativity scene and later stumbled upon an even smaller scale Christmas Town, then low and behold, some carolers had books in their hands! So books it is!

The JOY of Merino Wool

Today (#6), my "joy" was coming home from photographing more yarn samples with this gorgeous hand dyed Merino Wool. I can't hardly wait to make this into some baby beanies!!

Curing the December Photography Blah's

My absolutely fabulous friend Alyse, who operates Photography By Alyse, posted a Photography challenge for December. Now, being so far away from her, I thought it might be something fun for me to do this month to feel like we're doing together. Plus, right now I'm working with a new Client, The Whole Ball of Yarn, and I'm pretty sure you don't want to see 1500 different yarn, knitting and crochet samples.
