Since Miss Abigail got a haircut she was in need of new comp card images. Here she is in all her short-curly haired glory. She even rocked out the faux-hawk!

The Fabulous Baby A.

A huge thanks to little baby A. for helping out with modeling some fun photography props. We had some fun playing in boxes, chewing on jewelry, and apparently even thought the boxes were pretty enough to eat! Guess they are officially baby approved ;) Anywhoo, here is the fabulous Miss A. showing off some fun photography props. And of course, if you see something you like, head on over to Picture Perfect-Photography Props and More, to purchase the baby hatbox of your choice. They are great for babies age appx 6-12 months!

Designer Clothing at the Historic Columbia Gorge Hotel

I had the opportunity to work with Couture Prototype Madriaga this past week. They are a fairly new company out of San Diego, CA, that re-sells and rents high end fashion pieces. They sent me five different pieces of clothing to photograph, which included some Valentino, Christian Dior, Betsy Johnson, Gucci, and other fun articles amongst bags, jewelry and clothing.

One of my jobs, after receiving these amazing pieces of clothing, was to find an equally amazing location to photograph these pieces. After scouting out several locations, I arrived at the magnificent Columbia Gorge Hotel. Built in 1904 by Bobby Rand, and originally named the Wah Gwin Gwin Hotel (a Native American name meaning "rushing water" for the 208' waterfall on the grounds), and later fully restored to it's current luxurious state, the Columbia Gorge Hotel was truly a sight to behold. Located in Hood River, Oregon, it sits nestled atop the Columbia River. It's beautifully landscaped grounds include manicured gardens, native flowers, wooden and stone walkways, bridges and terraces, as well as the stream leading to the 208' waterfall and stunning view of the river. Once I walked the grounds and interior of this historic property, I knew this was the place I had to shoot!

With the help of Kailin C. on lighting, and the fabulous modeling talent of Morgan L., we were able to capture some great images.

Restoring Old Photos

The last couple days I've been scanning and restoring old photos I took and had portrait prints made of. Lets reminisce a little, shall we??

Hair With Some Fashion

Yeah, I know, MORE hair show stuff... but I am at the end of the pre-show editing! Finally! I figure all in all, before the show, I worked with about 80 models. Some were awesome-amazing, wanting some good portfolio work/experience! Some... well, we'll just say they were just there to have some fun... which is totally okay as well! I did get the chance to work with a few models that I have come to know and respect over the last couple of years, and as usual, they did some awesome work! Here are some of the less strange, more fashion-esque images from the show.

Never Ending

So if you're sick of seeing the funky hair and makeup... too bad  ;)  because I have TONS more to show you. But I'll be kind and not put them all up today. I do have a couple new edits to show though, as I get into some of my more favorite shots from the 2012 Taylor Andrews Hair & Fashion Show. Today... some of the models from the Sweeny Todd Segment! Creepy but still cool!

Seussical!

So one of the segments from the hair show was seussical (some fun images from the actual show will be coming probably next week after I've gotten through the studio shots) but for now I wanted to show off one of the tree holding Maizy's egg. I'm working on the full body one now, but it's not as pretty as the close up. I REALLY liked this one!

And a fun one from the Cats segment...
